Neev-Ya Prize

The “Neev-Ya Prize” is awarded by Rachel & Prof. David Durban in memory of their son, Neev-Ya Durban, who was a graduate of the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at the Technion and an officer in the Israeli Air Force’s Aeronautical Design Process Branch.

The prize is awarded annually to the authors of a paper submitted and accepted for presentation at the Israel Annual Conference on Aerospace Sciences, of whom at least half are soldiers.

The “Neev-Ya Prize” commemorates Neev-Ya’s creative spirit and the engineering contributions he had made while serving as an officer in the Air Force.
